Dixie had her procedure this past week with no complications at all! We can breathe easy for that at least! She’s still coughing and hacking, but we were told that this procedure wouldn’t fix that. It was being done to take samples of fluids from her chest, throat, and nose. The waiting game is now in affect to hear back from the doctor on what the samples show. We’re very hopeful that we can finally get to the bottom of what is going on.
We’ve been non stop on a video project this past week. Our first two years in the business, I was always so worried on not being busy all the time. There were some days where I sat at my computer and twiddled my thumbs trying to come up with something to do. It was very scary actually, but now we’re trying to hold our head above the water. Which is a good thing for the time being! Very thankful and excited for what is to come for MS. We’re going in a direction that I’ve always wanted to go and things are looking up for us! Unfortunately, a lot of the projects we’re working on require us to keep things under wrap, as many things haven’t been announced the public yet, but when they are announced and released, I’ll be able to post some behind the scenes here on the blog.
My biggest struggle currently is finding time to edit videos. We’ve been out shooting from dawn till dusk some days, so time management is something I’m currently working on. I’ve been on the 5am-6am train over the past few weeks where I’m getting a lot of work done in the morning before needing to be in the office and Aubrey is still sleeping. That way I can always be present when she’s getting ready for work. Keeping the business running and efficient is very important to me, but what’s more important is spending time with Aubrey without being on my phone or responding to someone. I’m getting better at it!
